Candace Lipischak is a multidisciplinary artist and Métis workshop facilitator. Born and raised on Treaty 1 territory, they are inspired by nature and their French Red River Métis-Polish background.
Self-taught, their visual art work may be connected to outsider art often illustrating unconventional ideas and materials. Candace has had both solo and group exhibitions. Their work is part of various collections, private and corporate, such as TDS Law, Ceridian, as well as the Niverville Community Resource and Recreation Centre.
Their company Fat Daug (short for Father/Daughter) was launched in 2015, offering unique and organic antler jewelry, which can be found on her website online and is carried by WAG-Quamajuk in Winnipeg. Candace also has merchandise incorporating their heritage-inspired designs, such as Louis Riel.
They reside in Otterburne, Manitoba, living a sustenance lifestyle growing organic garlic and harvesting from their 30 acres of land.

Avec de la peinture et en incorporant certains médiums comme des ramures, de l’étain réclamé et de pièces diverses, Lipischak a trouvé une façon de raconter une histoire différente tout en mettant en évidence des enjeux sociaux, de l’environnement, le consumérisme, la terre, la vérité et la réconciliation et les forces de la nature.
Ses oeuvres font partie de collections variées, privées et collectives, dont TDS Law et Ceridian, situés à Winnipeg ainsi que la ville de Niverville.
